Legacy Parts - Telescope Finder
Repair parts for telescopes can be difficult if not impossible to find. Or sometimes, a design is preferred. Download the 3D files provided below to repair or upgrade your telescope.
Notes
The small teeth in the plastic tube that holds the ZOOM lens are often stripped when young, enthustiastic hand turn the focuser knob too far. A part that screws into the tube that clamps the eyepiece can also be troublesome as it tends to come unscrewed. Lastly, the plastic tube is often a bit loose in the focuser which means that collimation (alignment) of the optics will not stay true due to the wobble. Replacement tubes are difficult to find. Our volunteers have created a 3D replacement tube which is one piece and fits much tighter.
